KH TANK & CORROSION PROTECTION

A TOP PARTNER IN THE
LPG AND MINERAL OIL
INDUSTRY.

We started off repairing LPG tanks 25 years ago and have since grown into one of the top partners in the LPG and mineral oil industry. With our strong team of 35 employees, including in-house FROSIO certified inspectors, we are available to assist our customers as an SME operating in Dortmund and throughout Germany.

We renovate LPG tanks and offer TÜV approvals at our coating and blasting facilities in Dortmund. Our on-site tank farm has space for around 1,000 LPG tanks. We also renovate over 6,000 utility dome shafts and LPG tanks, along with manhole covers, at our customers’ sites every year.

Following the introduction of our ISO 9001 management system in 2011 and SCC** certification in 2017, we now inspect LPG stations with regard to CI conformity, collision and corrosion protection. Our employees have received training on all HSSE directives applicable to mineral oil companies, ensuring a seamless on-site collaboration with contractors and compliance with all safety requirements. As a specialist company according to the German Water Resources Act (WHG), we have been authorised to work on facilities that handle water-polluting substances since 2016 in compliance with all regulations and requirements of Section 62(2) WHG.

“We are a competent partner.
Meaning our customers are
in safe hands with us”

PLAY IT
SAFE
WITH KH.

We’ve offered our unique KH inspection service throughout Germany since 2020. As part of the service, we assess and document the condition of dome shafts as well as remote fill sumps and create a full renovation plan, including all calculations. Once the renovation work is complete, the customer receives complete documentation in compliance with official requirements incl. operating instructions to ensure ongoing use in the event of damage. Our customers can also err on the side of caution by concluding a maintenance agreement, which involves annual on-site condition assessments.

In 2021, our team partnered up with our subsidiary M2 to develop the patented and DIBt approved TANK PROTECTION SHIELD® (TPS) sealing process, which can be implemented during ongoing operation and protects not only the shaft against wear and tear but also the environment in line with the WHG thanks to the use of carbon fibre.

Our subsidiary M2 Entwicklungs-, Produktions- & Vertriebs-GmbH, which specialises in coating systems and surface finishes, has belonged to our company since 2007 and perfectly complements our services.

We will also be launching a number of innovations in 2022 alongside our expansion into German-speaking European countries.
